“There’s No Such Thing As Unicorns” by Lucy Rowland and Katy Halford would be perfect for a child at that magical age between peek-a-boo and gotta see it to believe it. The rhyming verse along with the art is delightful. There are a lot of repeat phrases to help learn reading. And not to spill the “unicorns beans” , but this girl doesn’t look to closely, I saw one on almost every page. Kids will delight and have fun with this adorable picture book. And the glitter on the cover makes it iridescent. I suggest, put the book away and bring it out again every few weeks to keep the content fresh.
