DK Paul –
“Claire’s Voice” is true, one of those stories that needs to be told. I haven’t read the book yet. I met the author. Her daughter, Claire was a victim of shaken baby syndrome. The child survived, and grew up; and this book found it’s way to market. And Ohio, where the family lived at the time has some new laws.
Claire is sweet and lovable. This tragedy should never have happened. The baby sitter was chosen carefully and recommended. She was working at a daycare center. “Claire’s Voice” will raise everyone’s awareness to a real issue, and the impacts to a family that survived. The book’s cover is special too. The artwork is done by Claires’ sister Grace, and lettering is by Claire herself several years ago. The Fishpaws are local, living in Rhode Island today. Please read their memoir.
